Tools to Promote Open Pedagogy in the ClassroomThis is a 30-page toolkit with 16 distinct teaching methods that promote open pedagogy explained. Authored by Associate Professor Michael D. Aldridge, a member of the University of Northern Colorado's School of Nursing. The beginning of the toolkit explains open pedagogy and its relationship to OER. There is a section at the end with additional resources and next steps if faculty want to implement some of these methods. There are multiple weblinks and examples embedded in the document so that faculty who are interested in a particular method can use those resources for more information and to see examples of how to implement open pedagogy.

For example, you can find write-ups and case studies of renewable assignments from specific disciplines and courses as well as the student work product that resulted from them (if available and openly licensed). Additionally, there are teaching and learning resources such as infographics, professional development materials, and training materials to help you grow your work with open pedagogy.
