Artists band together into national organizations to do things together that they could not do as individuals. Many of these organizations:

  • Provide news and updates about their area of interest.
  • Operate exhibitions for members.
  • Provide professional development and educational programs.
  • Fund grants and scholarships.
  • Advocate for artists, their rights, and their economic wellbeing.
