What is Psychology?

Psychology is the scientific study of mental processing and behavior. It studies how individuals think, feel, and act. Using the scientific method, psychologists conduct research to investigate and improve the lives of individuals and groups at local, regional, national, and international levels. What is Counseling?

Counseling is a professional relationship that empowers divers individuals, families, and groups to accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career goals  (ACA, 2010).

What is Applied Behavior Analysis?

Applied Behavior Analysis is the scientific study of the relationships between individuals’ actions and various environmental stimuli (https://www.apbahome.net/page/aboutba). Through scientific research, ABA professionals interact with clients to teach appropriate behaviors, extinguish inappropriate behaviors, and/or modify existing behaviors to align with environmental and societal expectations. ABA professionals work in clinics, hospitals, schools, and other settings.
