Market Share Reporter in Business Insights
Business Insights includes market share research from Market Share Reporter.
To search just for market share research:
- Go to the Advanced Search, located bottom right from the search bar.
- Enter the market you want to look for in the search bars on the Advanced Search screen.
- Scroll down under the "Select Limiters" heading and change "Content Type" to "Market Share Reports."
IBISWorld
IBISWorld has industry profiles for US markets. To find market share information:
- Search for your industry by keyword or NAICS code.
- Select the report for your industry from the results.
- Each report has a "Major Companies" tab. This will include a chart with market share information and profiles of major companies in that industry that include their market share and major brands.
MarketLine in Business Source Premier
Business Source Premier contains US and global industry reports from MarketLine. Each report will have a section on market share and profiles of major companies.
- Enter your industry into the search bar. Alternately, you can enter an NAICS Code under "Limit your results."
- Scroll down to the "Search Options" heading and below that to the "Limit your results" subheading.
- Find "Publication Type" under "Limit your results" and check "Profile." "Publication Type" should be in the right column.
- Check the "PDF full text" box in the left column under "Limit your results."
- Click search.
