This research guide can help you identify children's and YA books in Kent Library, identify published books, and find book reviews.

Every year the Rainbow Round Table of the American Library Associations selects books to receive the Stonewall Awards, honoring books with "exceptional merit relating to the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender experience."

Since 2010 these awards have included the Mike Morgan & Larry Romans Children’s & Young Adult Literature Award, which selects a children's book and a young adult book to be recognized. There are also a number of children's and young adult books that receive an honor recommendation.
