Apple Teacher
Becoming an Apple Teacher means that you understand how to effectively use Apple tools such as Garage Band, Clips, and iBooks to engage students and enhance their learning. There are three pathways to becoming an Apple Teacher: iPad, Mac, & Swift Playgrounds. You must use an Apple ID to access this website. If you do not have an Apple ID, you can create one at this web page. You do not need an Apple device to complete these learning modules. Earning any Apple Teacher certification is free.

Google Certified Educator
Becoming a Level 1 Google Certified Educator means that you can demonstrate understanding of the fundamentals of using G Suite for Education tools in the classroom and that you understand basic technology implementation skills. The exam costs $10. If you have been accepted into the Southeast Missouri State University’s Educator Preparation program, there are exam vouchers available through The EDvolution Center.
Becoming a Level 2 Google Certified Educator demonstrates that you dive deeper into using G Suite for Education tools in the classroom and that you have advanced technology implementation skills. The exam costs $25.

Microsoft Innovative Educator
Microsoft Educator badging allows you to use learning modules at the Microsoft Educator webpage to earn badges and points for specific tools and skills. The Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator badge is automatically awarded to a Microsoft Educator Community member when you earn 1000 points. Earning this badge is free. Microsoft Certified Educator demonstrates that you understand global technology literacy competencies. The exam to earn this certification is called Technology Literacy for Educators (exam 62-193) and costs $127.
