Faculty Guide for Library Use During COVID-19

Welcome

As we transition to our remote only environment, we wanted to provide any help we could. To that end we put together this guide. In it we cover:

  • How to request library instruction and reference services online.
  • Requesting the purchase of new online materials.
  • How to find and use Open Educational Resources.
  • A list of subscription textbook and digital learning resources that are free for the time being.

If there is anything else you need covered, or if you have suggestions for materials to go in this guide, email Carl Hess (chess@semo.edu).

Fair Use & Emergency Remote Teaching & Research

When integrating resources into your classes, ensure you are using resources in a manner that follows Copyright and Fair Use. If you have any questions, please ask a librarian.
