Catalog of U S Government Publications The official catalog of federal government publications, including both tangible and digital materials

Homeland Security Digital Library A joint venture of the Center for Homeland Defense and Security, FEMA, and the Naval Postgraduate School

MetaLib Allows aggregated searching across many federal databases.  Can be broken into subject categories.

OSTI.gov Office of Scientific and Technical Information, U.S. Department of Energy

Science.gov A gateway that searches over 60 databases and more than 2,200 scientific websites providing users with access to over 200,000,000 pages of federal science information, including R&D results.

 

Federal Government Websites

FAA.gov  The FAA regulates civil aviation and U.S. commercial space transportation, maintains and operates air traffic control and navigation systems for civil and military aircraft, and develops and administers programs involving aviation safety and the National Airspace System.  Its website is a one-stop shop for regulations and pilot information.

Govinfo.gov Provides access to authenticated texts of statutes, case law, regulations, and other federal publications.

USA.gov The official public portal to federal government, it also links to some state and local materials.  Noteworthy for its ease of use.
