About the IMC

What is the Instructional Materials Center (IMC)?

The Instructional Materials Center, commonly referred to as the IMC, houses materials that you might find in a school media center. The IMC is also home to Kent Library's video collections, both VHS and DVD, kits, teaching aids and game collections. You will also find large work tables for group projects, viewing areas and comfortable seating.

Where is the IMC?

The IMC is located on the 3rd floor of Kent Library. You can use the marble stairs in front of the administrative offices. To contact the IMC, call 573-651-2234.

8:00 AM to 4:30 PM



Who can use the IMC?

Anyone can come in and use the work tables and equipment. Any Missouri resident over the age of 16, and all faculty, staff, and students of Southeast Missouri State University may check out VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, audio books and youth books. Faculty, staff and students have access to all other items in the IMC. You must have a photo ID in order to check items out.
