Items are given subject headings to describe what topics they cover. They can help you find more information on your topic by looking at the subject headings given to information you have already found.

Major Subject Headings for Accounting:

Print books are organized by call number, which represent the subject of the material. Books on similar subjects are likely to be shelved new to each other, making it easier to find more.

• Most of the collection is in the Dewey Decimal
• New and frequently-used materials began to be converted to Library of Congress in summer 2018
• Government publications are organized by SuDoc and are located in the Government Documents area on the 4th floor
